UNC Health Alliance providers have access to many programs and resources.
UNC Health Alliance offers a comprehensive educational learning program for our 3,500+ providers. This innovative online education program leverages the resources and thought leadership of a leading academic medical center and provides clinicians the tools and knowledge needed to deliver better patient care using the most up-to-date evidence and state-of-the-art recommendations. The curriculum will directly support UNC Health Alliance’s population-health goals, value-based contracts and maximize provider engagement, and relies on the resources of UNC’s world-class faculty and staff.
Our Learning Series provides meaningful clinical information in an easy to use and engaging format, mindful of busy clinical practices. Curriculum is set up in synchronous and asynchronous formats and archived for easy, future access. CME credits are available.
Personal Health Advocate:
Our Personal Health Advocate service provides support for health management and care coordination to the Health Alliance. Our patients and providers collaborate with a dedicated Personal Health Advocate team of trained nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, and care coordinators who facilitate care and assist in achieving health care goals.

UNC Health Care – Pharmacy Services:
Our Pharmacy Services is an extensive network of pharmacies located strategically across North Carolina featuring a URAC accredited Specialty Pharmacy and providing home delivery services. The program specializes in providing pharmacy programs such as Patient Adherence Centered Therapy (PACT) and Co-payment Incentive Programs which lead to improved member satisfaction through improved health outcomes and reduced out-of-pocket expenses.

The REACH program is an extension of UNC medical homes, delivering high-quality home-based primary care and the coordination of health care services for medically complex, at-risk patients in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and personal homes, particularly around transitions of care.
