UNCH ALS Programs - AHA Instructor Class Offerings
UNCH ALS Programs AHA Instructor classes are open to UNCH staff and to persons not aligned with UNCH or it's affiliates. Fees for instructor classes includes: Class, Monitoring, Training Center Alignment. Prerequisite: Everyone attending an AHA Instrucgtor course is required to complete the AHA Core Instructor Course prior to attending. This course can be found on the AHA Instructor Site or arrangements can be made with our Training Center to borrow Core Instructor Course materials. All classes are held at the UNCH ALS Programs Training Center, 1101 Weaver Dairy Road, Suite 104, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.

Upcoming Instructor Classes
Students must show evidence of completion of the AHA Core Instructor Course*.
BLS Instructor Class - May 6, 2013, 0800-noon.
Fees: Class only $200. (Class fee includes Training Center alignment and first year's Training Center membership)
Class plus BLS Instructor Manual and Provider Manual: $250 - (Every student attending must have a BLS Provider and a BLS Instructor Manual.)
Persons wishing to attend this class must complete the AHA Core Instructor Course prior to attending. *
* The Core Instructor Course is required by the AHA to become an instructor in any discipline. You only have to take the course once. If you're already a current AHA instructor, you have taken the course. Just bring a copy of your certificate of completion. If you need to take the course, you can do so online at the AHA Instructor website.
