1. Must attain a High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Must have or be eligible for a current North Carolina EMT Certification prior to hire
3. One year current experience as an Emergency Vehicle Operator; two years preferred.
4. Must have or be eligible for a valid North Carolina Drivers License
5. Must hold current Basic Life Support provider card prior to interview.
6. Must be able to lift 150 pounds with assistance
7. Must complete a CEVO or EVOC course within one year of hire.

1. Maintains current RN license in the state of North Carolina
2. 3 years of ER or ICU experience required, 5 years preferred. A combination of experience preferred.
3. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support provider required prior to interview.
4. Current Basic Trauma Life Support, Trauma Nurse Core Course, or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support required prior to interview
5. Instructor level in one of any of the above certification required prior to interview
6. Obtain Neonatal Resuscitation within one year of hire required.
7. Audit Advanced Trauma Life Support and obtain Basic EMT within one year of hire required.
8. Must meet current height and weight restrictions

Transport Respiratory Therapist ($39,527 - $59,291)
1. Graduation from JRCRTE approved school of Respiratory Therapy
2. NBRC registry required prior to hire.
3. 3 years of Neonatal/ Pediatric experience required, 5 years preferred.
4. NBRC Perinatal/ Pediatric Specialist preferred
5. Pediatric Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program Basic Life Support with instructor certification in one required prior to interview.

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. One year experience in radio communications or dispatch experience or an equivalent of training and directly related experience required
3. Direct Aviation communication experience preferred
4. North Carolina EMT preferred
5. Basic computer skills and knowledge of basic medical terminology required
6. If no previous communication experience (i.e. EMD), recommend NAACS Certified Flight Communications Course or an equivalent within one year of hire is encouraged
