Hospice
Welcome to the UNC Hospice Home Page! Hospice provides support and care for persons with limited life expectancies and their families, so that they may live fully and as comfortably as possible. Death is part of the normal cycle of life. UNC Hospice takes an integrated, team approach, while helping patients to manage their pain and other symptoms. Services also benefit patients' families as they prepare for the loss while accepting new roles. UNC Hospice promotes the belief that through appropriate care, and a community sensitive to their needs, patients and their families can gain mental and spiritual relief.
UNC Hospice is dedicated to serving people of all ages with limited life expectancies. Services are available to patients in Chatham, Orange, Lee and surrounding counties.
