Welcome to the home page for the University of North
Carolina Hospitals Nursing Staffing Systems Office! The
function of the Nursing Staffing Systems Office is to provide support
to the nursing staff of the inpatient units for the QuadraMed Patient
Acuity System and the Nightingale Staff Scheduling System. The
Nursing Staffing Systems Office collaborates with the nursing
leadership team to provide appropriate resources for both short
and long term staffing needs. Our newly developed Central
Resource Office, which is also a part of the Nursing Staffing Systems
program, will provide staffing support to the Inpatient Nursing Units
with an internal team of RNs called our Flexible Staffing Team.
The Central Resource Office works closely with the House Supervisors
and the Nurse Managers to assist with scheduling Nursing Assistants and
offering assistance as necessary based on daily staffing needs.

understand, anticipate and respond to your evolving staffing needs.
