Insurance

All Patients:

Many insurance companies require that you first obtain a referral from your primary care physician in order for your insurance to pay for your visit. Please be sure that you contact your primary care physician and give them the name and fax/telephone number of the clinic at which you will be seen here at UNC at least two weeks prior to your visit.

If your insurance company requires a referral and you fail to obtain a referral from your primary care physician, you will be expected to pay for your visit at the time you are seen.
