Ambulatory Care Center Pharmacy, Ambulatory Care Center, 3rd floor

*Open 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., Sat., Sun., & Holidays for new prescriptions from patients discharged from UNC Hospitals and the Emergency Department only.

To Reduce Your Waiting Time at the UNC Pharmacy-

Phone in your refill requests in advance
Use the telephone number on your prescription label

The automated refill request system can be used around the clock. This system will tell you when your refill will be ready for pick up after you have finished entering your refill requests. Be sure to listen for this message at the very end.

If you do not wish to use the automated refill request system,
press "0" to speak to a pharmacy technician after dialing the pharmacy during business hours.

Refills called in on: Monday -- are ready for pick up on Thursday
Tuesday -- are ready on Friday
Wednesday -- are ready on Monday
Thursday -- are ready on Tuesday
Friday, Saturday, or Sunday -- are ready on Wednesday

Refills called in on a holiday will require 1 additional day for processing.
