Our Practice
Chatham Primary Care (CPC) is a full service Family Practice that prides itself in caring for the entire family. Our clinicians and staff strive to provide comprehensive, preventative, and personal care for both children and adults. We have special interest in caring for both our pediatric (including newborn) as well as our sports minded patients. Our clinicians provide specialized women's heath care including prenatal, obstetrical, and gynecological care. We also enjoy helping our geriatric patients in our office, in their homes (when appropriate), as well as the local nursing home. Our physicians have specialty training and certification in family practice, and sports medicine. Our clinicians also have special interests and training in pediatrics, colposcopy, geriatrics, as well as exercise and fitness.
We perform many procedures in our office including laceration repair, uncomplicated fracture and dislocation care, skin biopsy, wart, cyst, and mole removal, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, electrocardiograms, hearing, vision, and pulmonary function, breathing treatment, allergy injections, joint, bursa and trigger point injections, IUD insertions, ingrown toenail surgery, and many other services. We also perform routine and nuclear exercise stress at Chatham Hospital. We also perform, on an appointment basis, all types of physical examinations including CDL/DOT, camp, school, FAA/flight (all classes), and complete or comprehensive physical examinations.
Our clinicians are on the faculty of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine. We primarily admit patients to Chatham Hospital in Siler City but can arrange to have patients receive care anywhere they wish.
After hours our clinician on call may be reached by calling Chatham Hospital at (919) 663-2113. Patients should identify themselves as patients of CPC and request to speak to the person on call for CPC. Patients may have to leave their telephone number so that the clinician can return their call in a timely manner. In a true emergency patients should call 911 and be transported to the nearest hospital emergency facility.
We accept most area health plans and participate in most HMOs. Please call to verify that we accept your insurance plan.
Our Philosophy
We are committed to providing the highest quality of care to ur patients without regard to their age, gender, race, disability, sexual preference, economic status or religious beliefs.
We are your health advocates and will always place your best interest first, never recommending for or against a treatment or referral based on a heath plan's economic priorities. We will, however, work with patients to develop a plan for quality and economically realistic care
We believe that trust and open communication between patients, physicians, and staff are cornerstones on building a healing and therapeutic relationship. Working with our patients to help them realize their goals for health is our priority. We stress the need for prevention of disease and lifestyle modification to achieve positive results. Active participation by the patient in their own health care is essential to wellness.
