Parking Information

Patients and visitors may park in the Dogwood Parking Decks or the Ambulatory Care Center parking lot at a cost of $1.25 per hour or a fraction thereof, to a maximum of $8 for a full day. Parking for patients visiting the UNC Family Medicine Center is located directly beside the front entrance of the center.

Valet parking for Emergency Room patients is located outside the Emergency Room main entrance. One vehicle per patient is allowed in the lot. You must request a parking permit from the Emergency Department security officer or the admitting receptionist in order to park here. Vehicles parking at the Emergency Room and not transporting a patient are valet parked at $10.

Valet Parking is available to all patients and visitors at the N.C. Children’s Hospital entrance. The cost for valet parking is $10 per visit. Valet discount coupons are available from the attendant at $45 per book of five.

Handicapped Parking is available for up to four hours in any of the handicapped parking spaces located across from the N.C. Memorial Hospital entrance. Additional handicapped spaces are located in the Dogwood Parking Decks. Handicapped-accessible shuttles service these spaces.
