Designed to feel as much like an outdoor play park as possible, the two-story atrium offers a gazebo, areas for performing artists, a water-wall and windows that frame a breathtaking view of the Orange and Chatham counties countryside. A teen center and music and recreational therapy rooms offer opportunities for therapeutic play for hospitalized children and outpatients. Also nearby is the Hospital School, North Carolina's only accredited hospital school for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. |
