Classes/Events

Expectant and new parents can choose a variety of classes from touring the labor and delivery rooms to learning the proper car seat restraint and installation. 

Grandparents and caregivers may want to enroll in the Infant CPR classes offered on consecutive Monday nights. Health, safety and wellness are integral themes in our UNC Safe Kids Club and Living Plus programs. 

Informational seminars
and health fairs are offered on a variety of topics at the hospital and in the community throughout the year.
 
CPR for Family and Friends
This class teaches the CPR techniques for infants and children.  In addition, this class provides important injury prevention information. Participants will learn CPR techniques taught by the American Heart Association and the National Safety Council.
Having a Baby at the N.C. Women's Hospital?
Take a free tour of the labor and delivery room and the facility where your child will be born. Tours last about an hour and pre-registration is required. Sibling tours are also available.
Living Plus
Living Plus is a free membership program that offers health information and events for men and women of all ages. There's something for you no matter what your stage of life may be.
