Clinical Trials
Up one levelA distinguishing characteristic of UNC Health Care is its association with the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine, a nationally eminent research institution. As new drugs and treatments are developed and tested in our laboratories, those which hold promise to help fight disease and illness are further tested in controlled, closely monitored environments using patient volunteers. These human research studies are commonly called clinical trials. Following is a list of some of the clinical trials currently being held at UNC.
