Smoking Cessation Study
Are you a cigarette smoker with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) between the ages of 35 and 75 that is motivated to quit smoking? If you are, you may qualify for a research study of an investigational drug to stop smoking.
If you qualify, you will be one of approximately 500 men and women who will participate in this year long study.
During the course of the study, you will receive a study medication, and smoking cessation counseling at no cost to you. Also at no cost, you will be given routine medical examinations that may include blood tests, urine tests and electrocardiograms.
You may be paid to cover the costs of transportation and parking.
