Office Hours & After Hours Care

We offer an extended range of office hours to accomodate the needs of children and parents.

Our office hours start at 7:30am Monday through Friday for acute care walk-ins.  Walkins are welcome until 8:30am.  After 8:30am, we offer appointments for a range of pediatric needs including physicals, well child checks, follow-up and acute care appointments.  We also provide acute care appointments 5pm-6pm Monday through Thursday at Chapel Hill North and acute care appointments at the Highgate office in Durham on Friday evenings, 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday mornings, 9:00am-12:00pm.

For Friday evening and Saturday morning appointments, you can call the Highgate office and let them know your child is a Chapel Hill North patient.  Their telephone number is 919-806-3335.  The Highgate office is located at 5322 Highgate Drive on Highway 54 in Durham, NC 27713.

For after hours coverage please call UNC Health Care's HealthLink at (888) 267-3675 where trained nurses will answer your questions or refer you to the provider on call if appropriate.  When our office is closed, registered nurses are available at HealthLink to help you with acute illness situations that cannot wait until the next day.  You will receive an individual nursing assessment based upon guidelines approved by your medical provider.  HealthLink will send a complete record of your call to our office.
