The UNC Comprehensive Transplant Center offers a full spectrum of transplant programs that service both adult and pediatric patients. The programs perform procedures for the transplantation of heart, heart-lung, lung, liver, kidney, pancreas, and bone marrow and stem cells. Transplant surgeons and physicians work closely with the multidisciplinary transplant team members to care for patients throughout the transplant process. The option of living donor transplantation may be extended to patients in the kidney, lung, or liver programs.
