SECU Family House provides a home-away-from-home for families with an adult patient being treated for a critical illness or injury at UNC Hospitals or its affiliated clinics.
All rooms are reserved on a wait-list basis and referrals are made by UNC Hospitals' personnel.
The patient’s physician, nurse coordinator, or social worker should contact House Manager Janice Ross at (919) 932-8008 with a referral. General inquiries can be made to (919) 932-8000.
For families of pediatric patients. The child's physician, nurse, or social worker should contact the Admissions Coordinator at (919) 913-2043 with a referral.

From UNC Hospitals take 15-501 North. Turn left on Old Erwin Road (a McDonald’s and hotel are on the right). Turn left onto Mount Sinai Road (Forest View Elementary School). Drive through the 4-way stop sign. Take the first paved road onto Wilkins Drive.
