McLendon Clinical Laboratories

The McLendon labs offer a wide variety of opportunities to work in state-of-the-art laboratories providing support to oncology, cardiology, pediatrics, genetics, infectious disease management and general medicine.

Currently, we’re seeking dedicated people for positions with the McLendon Clinical Laboratories. The McLendon labs offer a wide variety of opportunities to work in state-of-the-art laboratories providing support to oncology, cardiology, pediatrics, genetics, infectious disease management and general medicine. The laboratories are an integral part of the patient care team, providing critical information that is available on a STAT and routine basis to caregivers as they determine a course for clinical treatment.

McLendon Clinical Laboratories offers challenging and rewarding career opportunities in the fields of:

The scope of laboratory service includes both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.  The laboratory leadership includes 27 M.D. and Ph.D. directors in 13 specialty areas. All of the laboratories are supported by our Quality Management and Laboratory Information System groups.

McLendon Laboratories provides laboratory services to hospitals, clinics and community-based practices located throughout the state of North Carolina. The laboratories are on the forefront of scientific advances, research and teaching. The Department of Pathology boasts a recent Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Oliver Smithies.
