Application Checklist

For the Todd L. Peterson Post Graduate Fellowship in Health Care Administration.

Please submit the following:

  1. Click here for the Online Application Form, select Executive from the job search section and click the Search for Jobs button.
  2. Applicants must submit the following items electronically by uploading the documents to the online application form
    • Resume
    • A statement of goals and objectives addressing the following questions:
      1. Why did you choose health care management as your career?
      2. What makes UNC Hospitals the ideal place for you?
      3. What makes you an ideal candidate for the UNC Hospitals Administrative Fellowship Program?
  3. Applicants must submit the following items via mail by October 14th.Official transcript from the first year of graduate school must be original documents sent in the original sealed envelope from the registrar’s office.
    *Three recommendation letters- preferably two academic and one professional. Hard copies required.
    • These letters should address the applicant’s administrative and/or management experience as well as academic qualifications. The letters can be addressed to the Fellowship Selection Committee.
    • All letters of recommendation must be on original letterhead, signed by the person providing the recommendation, and submitted in a sealed envelope.
  4. Applications and related materials will be accepted no earlier than September 1. Please submit all hard copy application materials in one envelope (Please do not send application materials in presentation folders or other bound folders.)

Application deadline: The application deadline for the Administrative Fellowship at UNC Hospitals is Friday October 14 with a decision made before the end of November and work commencing on or around the first of July. Please send hard copy materials to the following address:
