Dr. Laura Brooke Lawrence joins University Pediatrics at Highgate

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – UNC Health Care is pleased to announce that Dr. Laura Brooke Lawrence has joined the medical staff of University Pediatrics at Highgate in Durham.

Lawrence grew up in Asheville, N.C. and went to college at Wake Forest University. She took two years off to teach high school in Asheville and then headed to Duke University School of Medicine for her medical school training. She did her residency training at UNC Hospitals and was asked to stay on as a chief resident in pediatrics last year. She is interested in general pediatrics and international health.

University Pediatrics at Highgate, one of 16 community practices in central North Carolina owned and operated by UNC Health Care, is located at 5322 Highgate Dr. in Durham. To schedule an appointment, please call (919) 806-3335.
