The fastest, most reliable way to reach a UNC source, especially on deadline, is to call the UNC Health Care News Team (UNC Medical Center News Office). Members of the News Team are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Reporters must be escorted by a member of the news team while in UNC Health Care hospital facilities in order to comply with patient confidentiality policies.
