“The high-quality, patient-focused care, the supportive and team-focused environment, the great balance of guidance and autonomy from preceptors, the unique teaching, research, and outreach opportunities for residents, the strong emphasis on mentorship and education, and the way pharmacists are respected and valued in the institution set the UNC program apart. Serving as a UNC resident is helping prepare me to be a better leader, practitioner, educator, and preceptor. I feel honored to be part of the UNC family and to train at an academic medical center with a world-class reputation and distinguished pharmacy residency program.”
