“I think UNC’s pharmacy department is one of the best in the country, and I can’t possibly imagine a better institution in which to practice pharmacy. The other members of the healthcare team rely heavily upon the pharmacy staff, and there are numerous opportunities each day to positively impact patient care. Further, I think the residency program does a great job of tailoring learning experiences to each resident’s personal needs, and the directors, preceptors, and mentors are heavily invested in the individual development of each resident. The program offers a variety of unique learning opportunities, and provides a great combination of guidance, support, and autonomy, enabling residents to develop both professionally and personally. “
