AHA Quest for Quality Prize 2012

UNC Hospitals receives finalist award for the AHA Quest for Quality Prize

The American Hospital Association (AHA) has recognized UNC Hospitals as a finalist for the 2012 AHA-McKesson Quest for Quality Award. This award demonstrates UNC’s commitment to achieving all six of the Institute of Medicine aims – safety, patient-centeredness, effectiveness, efficiency, timeliness, equity.

Thank you to everyone at UNC Health Care for continuing to improve the quality of care that we deliver to our patients and North Carolinians. Thank you also to everyone who contributed to the award application and took part in the site visit that took place in March.
