TJC Gold Seal   

 The Joint Commission Accreditation

  • UNC Hospitals earned accreditation through 2011.

 NQCA DPRP  

NCQA Diabetes Physician Recognition Program(DPRP) - The UNC Internal Medicine Clinic, Family Medicine Clinic, Division of Endocrinology and five physicians in our community-based practices have been awarded Recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance DPRP. NCQA, in partnership with the American Diabetes Association, developed the DPRP, to recognize physicians who have met standards demonstrating delivery of high-quality care to patients with diabetes.

U.S. News & World Report: Best Hospitals 2009-10 - Three medical specialties offered at UNC Hospitals rank among the top 50 programs of their kind nationwide in U.S. News & World Report's 2009 publication of America's Best Hospitals.

Leapfrog 2007 Top Hospitals  

 Leapfrog Group Top Hospital 2007 - UNC Hospitals was named one of the 41 best hospitals in the United States, based on results from the second Leapfrog Hospital Quality and Safety Survey.
