Howard E.
Kashefsky, DPM Podiatric Director Wound Management Clinic Background:
Dr. Kashefsky comes to UNC having completed his training at Catholic
Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, NY where Kashefsky served as the
chief surgical resident. Kashefsky previously graduated the New York
College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Kashefsky has lectured on
diabetic foot evaluation, trauma and common foot
disorders.
Dr. Kashefsky has a special interest in all aspects of foot management including:
Wound Care
Correction of Common Deformities
Bunions
Hammertoes
Ingrown Nails
Sports Injuries
His
interests also include biomechanical evaluation and long term
management with orthotics and appropriate shoe
gear.
