UNC Rex Healthcare Administrative Fellowship
UNC Health is excited to announce the continuation of its fellowship program at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC. During the fellowship, the Fellow will attain a broad exposure to the entire organization, while also developing and refining hard skills that will lay a strong foundation for the rest of his or her career. With guidance and direction from members of the Executive Team, the Fellow will have the flexibility to pursue and develop his or her own interests as it relates to organizational needs. Meaningful shadowing opportunities will exist throughout the year and can be arranged based on interests of the Fellow. Participating in Executive-on-Call rotations will further inform the Fellow of internal and external forces that influence hospital operations.
Candidates who seek to understand the operations of a community hospital and how it functions as part of a nationally recognized integrated healthcare system are encouraged to apply for this position.

UNC Rex Healthcare is a private, not-for-profit health care organization that joined UNC Health in 2002. For over 125 years, UNC Rex has met the health care needs of our community by providing various services throughout Wake County. Rex Healthcare has multiple facilities located in Apex, Cary, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Wakefield, and Raleigh. Those facilities include a 660-bed acute care facility in Raleigh, five wellness centers, two skilled nursing facilities focusing on rehabilitation and long-term nursing care, and urgent care centers throughout Wake County. Additionally, construction of a 50-bed hospital in Holly Springs and a 143k square feet Cancer Center on the Raleigh campus are both underway.
