Providing continuing education and ongoing training developed with the National LGBT Health Center and recognized by the Human Rights Campaign’s Healthcare Equality Index
Celebrating Pride Month across the healthcare system and the school of medicine, including activities to increase awareness of gender diversity and the importance of pronouns
Recognizing and responding to healthcare disparities impacting members of the LGBTQ+ community

UNC Urology Department: Urology Services for Transgender and Gender Diverse Individuals This clinic provides urological services to transgender and gender-diverse patients including primary gender affirmation services and revisions after surgery in a compassionate environment. We have experience managing the most complex urologic cases.
UNC Transgender Health Program This program assists patients in need of gender-affirming care, helping them to navigate the healthcare system and connect to medical, surgical and mental health services with gender-affirming providers. We act as a primary point of contact for transgender patients at UNC Health.
UNC Psychiatry Gender Equity and Wellness Initiative This initiative provides evidence-based care for gender diverse individuals (ages 4 to 30 years) as well their families. We support those exploring or undergoing gender-affirming treatment and provide support and consultation during any phase of transition.
The Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic for Gender Wellness provides a list of resources for children, adolescents and their families.
