  • Debridement – Minor surgery to remove unhealthy tissue
  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) – Treatment where you breathe in pure oxygen to improve oxygen flow to damaged tissue, which encourages healthy tissue to grow
  • Intravenous (IV) therapy – Injection of into a vein to treat infected wounds
  • Negative pressure wound therapy – Gentle vacuuming that drains fluid from the wound to increase blood flow
  • Specialized dressings – Bandages that support healthy bacteria while killing harmful bacteria by absorbing fluids or drainage from the wound
