    Antibiotics Policy

While you may have been prescribed antibiotics for your condition previously, our providers are asked to review each case prior to prescribing any medications. Over prescription of antibiotics can lead to antibiotic resistance, decreasing the effectiveness of the drug and causing infections to spread. Antibiotics also have side effects (rash, nausea, yeast infections, diarrhea, allergic reactions) which your provider will consider before prescribing. Please discuss any concerns about your treatment plan with your provider.
